Custom development

When the 30 days are the starting point, not the finish line.

The productized Rebirth rebuilds your website and creates your Knowledge Graph. Custom development is what comes next: integrating the graph into your internal systems, building AI tools on top of it, and extending it across every surface your business touches.

Capabilities

What we build

Every custom engagement extends the Knowledge Graph into new territory. These are the most common engagements. If yours is not listed, the scoping call is where we figure it out.

Knowledge Graph integrations

Connect your Knowledge Graph to your CRM, support stack, or internal knowledge base. Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, Intercom, or custom systems. The graph becomes the shared context layer that every customer-facing tool draws from.

Internal AI tools

Build AI-powered tools for your team that are grounded in your actual expertise, not generic foundation model output. Proposal generators, onboarding assistants, compliance checkers, pricing calculators. All powered by the graph.

Custom content engines

Automated content generation that produces drafts grounded in your Knowledge Graph and validated by your AI Society. Blog posts, case studies, white papers, email sequences. On-brand and specific, not on-brand-ish and generic.

Multi-brand Knowledge Graph architecture

For companies with multiple brands, divisions, or verticals that share underlying expertise but need distinct market positioning. One unified graph, multiple downstream expressions. Each brand gets its own AI Society configuration.

Bespoke AI Society configurations

Custom persona sets for niche ICPs that the standard 1,000-persona library does not cover. Industry-specific buying committees, regulatory personas, technical evaluators. Built from your CRM data and validated against real sales outcomes.

Downstream surface development

Build new surfaces powered by the Knowledge Graph beyond the website: AI chat widgets, SDR outbound engines, sales enablement platforms, partner portals. Each surface is grounded in the same structured knowledge.

Process

How we engage

Custom engagements follow a precise process. No ambiguity in scope, no surprises in delivery.

01

Scoping call

A focused conversation to understand what you need, what you have, and what the right engagement looks like. No generic proposals. We scope precisely or we do not scope at all.

02

Statement of work

A detailed document specifying deliverables, milestones, timeline, and pricing. Fixed-fee for well-defined projects. Time-and-materials for exploratory or iterative work. You choose the model that fits.

03

Build and deliver

Development proceeds in defined delivery cadences with regular check-ins. You see working software at every milestone, not a final reveal after months of silence. The team that built your Knowledge Graph is the team that extends it.

04

Handoff and ownership

Everything we build is yours. Code, integrations, extended graph, AI tooling. It runs in your infrastructure. We provide documentation and, if needed, onboarding for your team. No vendor lock-in.

Fit

Who this is for

Custom development is not for everyone. It is for companies that have seen what a Knowledge Graph can do and want to go deeper.

Existing Rebirth clients

You completed the productized engagement. You have a Knowledge Graph, a rebuilt website, and you can see what the graph could do if connected to your internal systems. Custom development is the next layer.

New clients with deeper needs

Your requirements exceed a 30-day productized engagement from the start. You need bespoke integrations, multi-brand architecture, or internal tooling that requires a custom scope. The scoping call determines the right engagement.

Teams scaling AI internally

You have proprietary knowledge that your team needs to access through AI-powered tools. The Knowledge Graph becomes the foundation. Custom development builds the tools your team actually uses.

Foundation

Every custom engagement starts with the graph

The Knowledge Graph is not just a website asset. It is the structured representation of everything your company knows: services, expertise, customer segments, proof points, competitive positioning. Custom development extends this foundation into every system your business runs.

Because the graph already exists and is structured, custom integrations are faster, more accurate, and more valuable than building from scratch. Every new surface you connect compounds the value of the original asset.

Pricing models

Two engagement models. You choose.

We do not publish rates. Pricing is determined on the scoping call based on the specific requirements of your project.

Option A

Fixed fee

For well-defined projects with clear deliverables. You know the scope. We know the price. Milestones are defined upfront. Payment follows delivery, not hours logged.

Defined deliverables and milestones
Price agreed before work begins
No hourly billing surprises

Option B

Time and materials

For exploratory or iterative work where the scope evolves as you learn. Weekly check-ins, transparent time tracking, and the flexibility to adjust direction without renegotiating the entire contract.

Questions

Custom development FAQ

The productized Rebirth is a fixed-scope, 30-day engagement that rebuilds your website using the Knowledge Graph and AI Society. Custom development is everything beyond that: integrating the graph into internal systems, building AI tools on top of it, extending the graph across multiple brands, or creating bespoke content engines. Custom work is scoped separately with a statement of work.

Not necessarily. Most custom development clients are existing Rebirth clients who have seen what the Knowledge Graph can do and want to extend it. But if you already have a rebuilt site and a graph, or your needs are purely custom from the start, we can scope a standalone engagement on the scoping call.

Custom engagements are scoped on a per-project basis and priced either fixed-fee or time-and-materials, depending on the nature of the work. We do not publish rates. The scoping call exists to understand your requirements precisely so we can give you an accurate number, not a range.

It depends on scope. A CRM integration might take two weeks. A multi-brand Knowledge Graph architecture might take eight. We define delivery milestones in the statement of work so you know exactly what ships and when. There is no open-ended retainer unless you want one.

The same team that builds the productized Rebirth. We do not subcontract custom development to outside agencies or freelancers. The people who built your Knowledge Graph are the people who extend it.

We offer ongoing retainers for clients who want continued development, graph enrichment, or new surface generation. This is scoped separately and discussed during or after the custom engagement. There is no pressure to commit to ongoing work.

Yes. The Knowledge Graph is designed to be portable and interoperable. We have built integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, Intercom, and custom internal tools. If your stack is unusual, the scoping call is where we assess feasibility.

Everything. The code, the integrations, the extended graph, the AI tooling. It runs in your infrastructure, under your control. We do not retain proprietary access to anything we build for you.
